Illegal Drugs in South Africa
Illegal drugs in South Africa are unfortunately widely available. Substance abuse is common among children as well as adults and the problem is that many people are too proud to admit their addiction and go to a rehabilitation centre. The different types of drugs and their side effects are all hazardous; from smoking “dagga” to smoking “tik” (Crystal Meth) they are all addictive and can ruin your life, easily. You don’t have to try it more than once to be addicted; you will be surprised at what “just this once” can turn into, and this is not said in a good way.
Crystal Meth, Marijuana, Heroin, LSD, Mandrax, Ecstasy, Speed and Cocaine; these are all types of illegal drugs in South Africa. Anyone who thinks they might have an addiction problem with substance abuse should seek help immediately from a rehabilitation centre. It will not be easy, but getting help now is better than getting it later. The side effects of drugs are scary, from hallucination to your teeth falling out, body sores and even death; you do not want to go down that road. Everyone can use drugs, from your ten year old child to your sixty year old grandmother; drugs grab a hold of anyone these days, no matter their age, size, shape or nationality.
Taking drugs is no joke, you might think that doing it once won’t affect you, but some people are not as strong as others so they will not be able to say no the next time round. Some people are lucky while others aren’t, you will never know which type you are, so don’t give it a try, you might never be able to release yourself again. Illegal drugs in South Africa are dangerous; they are not something you want to try, not now and not ever.
